What is a superbowl moneyline bet?
Moneyline bets in football are determined by the winner of the game including overtime. If the NFL football game ends in a tie, the moneyline bets push and wagers on both teams are refunded to the bettor.
Moneylines are two-sided wagers thus having a FAVORITE and a UNDERDOG. Favorites require you to lay juices (vigorish) and Underdogs pay you on top of your initial bet.
Below is an example of a moneyline bet:
Green Bay Packers +130
New England Patriots -150
In this example, the Green Bay Packers are underdogs with a moneyline of +130. This means if the Green Packers win the game for every $100 bet them you will receive your initital bet ($100) and a profit of $130.
On the other side, you will have to risk $150 to win $100 on the New England Patriots as favorites. IF they win, you will receive your initial risk ($150) and a profit of $100.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
