Premier League Weekend Predictions – Round 14

Welcome to the betting predictions for the 14th Premier League round. The last one brought a ton of excitement as it was very eventful for several teams. Coach Mourinho started his Tottenham reign with a win against West Ham. On the other hand, Chelsea’s winning streak was stopped by Guardiola and his men who got back to winning ways after losing to Liverpool in the 12th matchweek. In other news, Manchester United and Arsenal failed to win yet another game as both clubs drew their matches. Both sides fell in the Europa League as well later in the week. As a matter of fact, that loss was the end for Arsenal’s coach Emery. He got sacked and Arsenal will be playing their Premier League fixture this week without a head coach. Here are our weekly Premier League predictions.

Chelsea vs West Ham United >> click here for live odds

The London blues had their winning streak cut short by the holding champions. However, Chelsea were never out of the match and ended up losing narrowly to a side that has twice their roster. Lampard has taken this Chelsea squad to another level even though most of them are very young players. They played a draw against Valencia in the CL which was a good result for them although they were close to winning the match. Now, Chelsea are going to play a London derby against the Hammers.

However, West Ham are having their worst season in years. Even though they have a strong squad and a proven coach, West Ham are sitting just 3 points above the relegation zone. To make things worse, they are now playing a London derby. The chances are very big that if they fail to win another match, the coach will get sacked. For his sake, the Hammers need a positive result on Saturday.

Chelsea are in a much stronger position at the moment as they continue their bid to finish in the TOP 4. The Hammers, on the other hand, look completely lost but they can’t afford to lose another match. For that reason, we are backing a Both Teams to Score outcome.

Liverpool vs Brighton and Hove Albion >> click here for live odds

The Anfield side is slowly but surely walking towards a Premier League title. They have played several very tough matches in the last couple of weeks but they always come on top. Even with a rotated squad, Liverpool always find a way to score a late goal. Midweek, in the Champions League. once again they went down a goal against Napoli. It’s unusual how a team that’s beating everyone has so much trouble against the Italian side. However, once again, Liverpool found a way to score an equalizer as the fixture finished 1:1.

Brighton have been following a much known scheme when it comes to PL fixtures. They play with everything they have in front of their fans while their away games can be very uneventful. However, home wins are keeping them in a good position. Their aim is to stay away from relegation and at the moment they are doing a great job. Nevertheless, they have never gotten a positive result against Liverpool and it’s unlikely that it will happen this weekend.

It’s hard to look past Liverpool for this one. After several tough matches, they have a chance to play a team that’s located in the middle of the table. They have never dropped points against Brighton which is why we are backing a Home Side Over 2.5 Goals outcome.

Tottenham Hotspur vs AFC Bournemouth >> click here for live odds

Mourinho took over Tottenham during a very hard spell when it comes to their schedule. First, they face West Ham and now they have to face Bournemouth. However, things started off as good as it can be because the Spurs won the match against West Ham. On top of that, they got a vital victory in the Champions League which saw them through to the last 16 phase. It seems, the new coach has fixed some of heir internal drama as they are performing better than a couple of weeks ago.

The Cherries have been constantly up and down this season. They win a couple of matches and then they lose some. What’s interesting is that they get points against strong opposition and lose points against sides who have less quality than them. They defeated United and Everton but lost to Newcastle and failed to beat Norwich at home. At the moment, they are on a 2 games losing run and have to travel to London to face Tottenham.

Tottenham are in a better position at the moment and they are also playing at home. However, we can’t just believe that Tottenham got a new coach and all their problems got fixed. Their squad issues are still there and Bournemouth will try to take advantage of that. For that reason, we are backing a Both Teams to Score outcome.
