Manchester City vs Everton is a big one where Ancelotti will face his 1st tough opponent since he took over the head coach position at Everton. However, the real derby will be played Wednesday night when the Gooners are going to host Manchester United. Last but not least, we have to mention the only match that’s played on Thursday. Liverpool will be hosting Sheffield who are having a fantastic season so far. Can the Blades stun Liverpool or will Klopp’s side continue it’s onslaught towards the title. More about all of this below, in our weekly Premier League predictions for the upcoming matchweek.

Guardiola’s side bounced back from the defeat against Wolves with a win against Sheffield United. However, the title race might already be over for that. Although that doesn’t mean that City will just throw in the towel when there is one more half of the season. In this round, they will face Everton who have been playing much better since Ancelotti was assigned as head coach. The Manchester Blues have a very good record against the Toffees as they have 4 wins and 1 draw in the last 5 matches they played against them in the EPL. As a matter of fact, Everton last won this fixture away to City back in 2010. Fans will be hoping that City doesn’t drop any more points because they really can’t afford to do that.

It seems Anceolotti has made a great impact on the Everton team. They were relegation bound before he joined and how they have connected 2 wins in a row for the first time this season. With 11 out of 15 points in the last 5 rounds, the Toffees moved up to 10th on the table. However, with a positive results against City, they can go even higher. At the moment, they are just 6 points off the 5th position on the table. Still, facing City is always hard which is suggested by the bad run of results they have against them. However, the Manchester Blues are not at their best this year and Everton can use that to get a positive result.

Quality wise, Manchester City are considered clear favorites for this one. However, they are favorites in most games and it doesn’t mean anything. If it did, City wouldn’t be 14 points below the table leaders. Everton are more than capable of surprising them which is why we are backing a Both Teams to Score outcome.

The Gooners have won just 1 match in the last 15 in all competitions. They were up against Chelsea for most of the match but then a small lapse in concentration caused 2 Chelsea goals in just 4 minutes. However, there were lots of positives for Arsenal in that match. They played their best game this season which shows that Arteta has made an immediate impact on the squad. They need to keep improving and get back to winning ways as soon as possible. It’s tough on them that they have such a hard schedule at the moment but Arsenal will have to deal with it. They couldn’t win against Chelsea but maybe they can defeat United on Wednesday.

With the win against Burnley in the last round, United finally grabbed the 5th spot on the table. They are now ready to challenge the Top 4 for a spot among them. However, they must improve to do that. Even though they have collected 2 wins in a row, United are still not performing consistently. Without fixing that, Ole’s side is not going to match up with their season expectations. Arsenal won this fixture last season and they will certainly try to do it again which is why the Red Devils need to travel to London fully prepared. If results go their way, United could move within a point of Chelsea but they also need to win against Arsenal.

This is a fixture that’s always hard to predict. This year it’s even harder because both teams have been struggling a lot. Things are much worse for Arsenal though as they are on the 12th place on the table. However, the performance against Chelsea showed a lot of promise and if they can replicate that, they could win on Wednesday. For that reason, we are backing a Home Side Victory.

Liverpool vs Sheffield United >> click here for live odds

The Reds are having their best season in years. They have been undefeated for 19 matches in the Premier League. As a matter of fact, they have played just one draw in those 19 matches. Liverpool are 13 points above Leicester with a game in hand which means that difference could be 16. Even the tough and packed schedule hasn’t been a problem for Klopp’s side. They have defeated both the Foxes and the Wolves in just 3 days and they now have to face the Blades who are having a fantastic season. The last time they met, Liverpool won by just 1 goal in a match where they were lucky to score and win at all. However, this time Liverpool are in front of their amazing crowd and they will certainly go for all 3 points.

The Blades lost to City in the last round in a match where they got a goal disallowed for an Offside which was very tight. Nevertheless, the quality of City eventually overpowered them but Sheffield played a good match. Their schedule is tough at the moment as now they have to play against Liverpool. The Blades have a bone to pick with them after the way their last match-up ended. They will travel to Anfield hoping to surprise the European champions. If Liverpool rotate their squad because of the tight schedule, the Blades might be able to pull an upset.

Liverpool are considered favorites for this fixture which is normal. The are playing at home and they have been undefeated the whole season. However, the Blades are able to score and surprise against anyone as they have already proved this season. For that reason, we are backing a Both Teams to Score outcome.
