Sunday brings us the first fixtures of the 10th and last Euro 2020 Qualification round. While several nations have already booked their spot for the tournament, there are some who won’t know if they will be participating in Euro 2020 until the very last minute. There is always a lot of excitement in these matches because a single goal can leave a huge impact. Below you will find previews for Sunday’s matches.
Luxembourg vs Portugal >> click here for live odds
The visitors have a play-off sport through the League of Nations but they would rather be certain in their qualification by finishing on 2nd position in their group. This means that Portugal need to defeat Luxembourg who are one of the outsiders in the group. Portugal needs all 3 points because if they drop points Serbia will get a chance to take their qualification sport from them. Luxembourg, on the other hand, have defeated Portugal just once in their history but that was almost 60 years ago.
It’s hard to look past Portugal for this fixture. They need the win and they also have much more quality than Luxembourg. We are backing a – 1.75 Away Side Asian Handicap.

The hosts still hold on to hope of qualifying for Euro 2020 even though their chances are very small. First, they need to defeat table leaders Ukraine and then prey that Portugal drops points against Luxembourg. Ukraine have already secured qualification so they won’t really care about the outcome of the match; however, every team wants to finish a competition with a win.
Serbia will do their best to win this match; however, it won’t be enough if Portugal win their match. Such an outcome might dishearten Serbian players which is why we will be backing a Both Teams to Score outcome.
Bulgaria vs Czech Republic >> click here for live odds
Bulgaria are at an end of a very uneventful qualification cycle. A lot more was expected from their squad but at the end it turned out that they are the biggest underdogs in their group. The visitors on the other hand already secured qualification when they defeated Kosovo in the previous round. In the reverse fixture, the Czech Republic won 2:1 against Bulgaria. This time around, the outcome is meaningless to both sides so we might see an open match.
Both sides have nothing to gain from this match except maybe for a bit of pride for Bulgaria. For that reason, we are backing an Over 2.5 Goals outcome.
Kosovo vs England >> click here for live odds
Kosovo, who were the surprise of the tournament, will end their qualification cycle with empty hands after losing to the Czech Republic in the previous round. Now, their only hope to reach the Euro 2020 is through the League of Nations play-offs. In the last round, they have to play England in a match that can’t really change anything in the group. In the reverse fixture the proud “Albion” conceded 3 goals against Kosovo and the hosts will definitely try to win this time around, with their supporters backing them through the whole match.
Here we have another match that won’t have any impact on the qualifications. Kosovo will be playing for their pride as they hope to defeat a side like England. We are backing an Over 3.5 Goals outcome.
Albania vs France >> click here for live odds
Albania lost their chance of qualification a couple of rounds ago so now they are only playing for their pride. The World champions qualified a long time ago but they still need a point to be certain that they finish 1st in the group. The reverse fixture finished 4:1 in favor of France and while we are sure Albania will put up a bigger fight in front of their crowd, France should still win comfortably.
With not a lot to gain from this match, both sides will probably use a rotated squad. We are expecting an open game which is why we are backing the Away Team to Score Over 2.5 Goals.
Andorra vs Turkey >> click here for live odds
With qualification secured, Turkey will be traveling to Andorra without the need to win any points. Andorra, who are the underdogs of this group lost narrowly just 1:0 in the reverse fixture. However, they are yet to get any kind of positive outcome against Turkey in any competition. As a matter of fact, Andorra have never even scored a goal against Turkey. Maybe the fixture on Sunday will change this unfortunate statistic.
Turkey are clear favorites for this one even if they don’t need any kind of positive outcome as they have already qualified for Euro 2020. Andorra, on the other hand, will pray for their pride and they will do their best to score at least a goal. That’s why we are backing an Over 2.5 Goals outcome.
Moldova vs Iceland >> click here for live odds
The draw against Turkey in the previous round saw Iceland lose their chances of qualification. They will have to try their luck through the League of Nations play-offs. Moldova, on the other hand, are the biggest outsiders in this group which is why they are occupying the last position on the table. In the reverse fixture, Iceland scored 3 past them and even though Moldova is now playing at home, a very similar outcome is expected.
Even though they lost their chances of qualification, Iceland should have enough quality to see off the challenge of Moldova. For that reason, we are backing an Away Side Victory outcome.
