European Qualifiers – Round 10 – Monday 11/18

Welcome to the 2nd day of Euro 2020 qualification matches from the 10th and last round. There are several teams who need good results to be able to qualify. However, there are also squads who will be waiting for others to drop points in order to take their place in the Euro 2020 tournament. Below you will find previews for Monday’s matches.

Gibraltar vs Switzerland >> click here for live odds

As the biggest outsiders of this group, Gibraltar will probably finish the qualification cycle with 0 points on the table. Switzerland need a point to qualify and they already defeated them 4:0 in the reverse fixture. It’s unlikely that Gibraltar could trouble this Swiss side but since it’s the last match of the cycle, they will certainly try their best to cause an upset.

Switzerland are the clear favorites here. They do need just a point; however, with a win, they have a chance to get the 1st place of the table if Denmark dropds points in their match. We are backing an outcome where the Away Team Scores Over 2.5 Goals.

Greece vs Finland >> click here for live odds

The hosts lost their qualification chance while Finland secured the 2nd position several rounds ago. Nothing more than pride is at stake in this fixture; however the Greeks will want payback for the narrow 1:0 loss in the reverse fixture. Additionally, a victory will see them finish 3rd in the group which in turn will give them an “easier” group in the next qualification cycle./span>

The visitors will surely field a highly rotated squad. They don’t need anything from this match as they have already qualified. For that reason, we are backing a 1X Double Chance outcome.

Ireland vs Denmark >> click here for live odds

Here we have the most important fixture of the day. The visitors need just a point to qualify. However, since the reverse fixture finished with just a draw, Ireland could take Denmark’s place if they defeat them on Monday. It’s not going to be an easy feat because Ireland hasn’t defeated Denmark in an official(qualification) game since 1979. Still, they have home turf advantage and they will certainly give their best and try to bring their country to the Euro 2020.

This is a fixture where picking the winner would be impossible. Both sides need points and both can’t afford to lose this match. For that reason, we are backing a Both Teams to Score outcome.

Italy vs Armenia >> click here for live odds

The hosts qualified a long time ago as winners of this group. Armenia, on the other hand, lost their chances to qualify for the Euro 2020. However, they could use the points to finish 3rd in the group and get a potentially easier group in some next qualification cycle. The reverse fixture finished 1:3 in favor of Italy which is not good for Armenia who will now travel to Italy. The hosts haven’t lost a game when playing in Palermo since 1994.

Italy have way too much quality for the likes of Armenia. Even if they field a rotated squad, Italy should be able to win this one. We are backing a – 1.75 Asian Handicap outcome.

Liechtenstein vs Bosnia & Herzegovina >> click here for live odds

Before the qualification cycle started, experts believed that besides Italy, the other team that should qualify from this group should be Bosnia. However, their performances were not very good, especially versus Finland who is the team that took the 2nd position. As a matter of fact, Bosnia could end up finishing 5th in the group. They need to defeat Liechtenstein who are outsiders in order to protect their image. If Greece and Armenia drop points, they could finish 3rd with a victory on Monday.

The reverse fixture finished 5:0 for Bosnia. We are expecting for something similar to happen this time, even though Liechtenstein are playing home. We are backing an – 2.75 Away Side Asian Handicap.

Malta vs Norway >> click here for live odds

The visitors lost their chance to qualify and will now play so they could potentially finish 3rd in the group. Malta are one of the outsiders in the group and they have never won a match against Norway. In the reverse fixture, Malta lost 2:0; however, even though they are playing at home, it’s very unlikely that they will managed a positive outcome against Norway.

Norway should be winning this one while Malta could use the home support to try and score at least a goal. For that reason, we are backing an Over 2.5 Goals outcome.

Spain vs Romania >> click here for live odds

The visitors had a very good qualification cycle and were very close to reaching Euro 2020. However, the quality of Spain and Sweden was too much for this young side as they will have to try their luck in the next qualification cycle. The hosts, on the other hand, are surely 1st in the group and this match means nothing to them. Still, Spain are playing at home and there is no squad in the world that doesn’t love winning at home, no matter how unimportant the fixture is.

Romania will try to get some points from this match because that could help them finish 3rd in the group. They should be able to at least score against Spain. That’s why we are backing a Both Teams to Score outcome.

Sweden vs Faroe Islands >> click here for live odds

Sweden secured qualification in the last round when they defeated Romania 2:0. In this round they need no points and are facing Faroe Islands, who are one of the outsiders of the group. In the reverse fixture, Sweden took home a 0:4 win and even though they don’t need anything from the match, the hosts should get another comfortable win against Faroe Islands.

It’s likely that Sweden will field a rotated squad; however, that only means that they might win with a lower margin. The Faroe Islands are huge outsiders which is why we are backing an outcome where the Home Team Scores Over 2.5 Goals.
